NeYo - Never Knew I Needed

Turned out the mini surprise my friend had for me was to catch Disney's The Princess and The Frog on a movie night, knowing I'm a huge fan of Disney's. Dang, should have figured that out. Now I owe that friend 20 songs at K-Box =(

I shall not say much about the movie, except that you should not expect it to be like the other Disney Princesses movies. And it is highly recommended by me! Rated 83% (fresh) on Rotten Tomatoes but I'd give it 90%.

I was surprised when I knew Ne-Yo's latest release, Never Knew I Needed was the cartoon's theme song. This simply proves that just because it's a kids movie doesn't mean there shouldn't be a grown up music to go with.

An interesting discovery by a sensitive, fussy, nerdy-slash-geeky friend of mine.

1. Open any Facebook page - your own profile page or friend's profile page (if you happened to stalk him/her), home page, photos, apps, etc.

2. Do the following - Hit Up arrow 2 times, Down arrow 2 times, Left arrow once, Right arrow once, Left arrow once, Right arrow once, letter 'b' once, letter 'a' once and hit 'Enter'.

Of Beaches, Sea Breeze and Sunsets

My first time to the beach since my Bali trip.

It took us an hour plus to reach Sepang Gold Coast from Cheras.

Just in case we got lost, considering both our sense of directions are not very good.

See? The sun was high up when we reached. We didn't miss it. Hehe.

There was a development going on on one end of the beach - Sepang Gold Coast. Brick houses on stilts extending out to the sea to form a shape of an oil palm tree. This apparently is the third in the world, the first is in Dubai, and the largest in Asia.

Freaking expensive I tell you. The cheapest was a 500+ sq feet one bedroom house sold for 700+k and the most pricey would be a 1500+ sq feet 3 bedrooms house sold for 2.7+ million.

These figures are all from what I could recall from the brochure. Might not be 100% accurate.

The one common thing people would do on a beach..

Sand art. Advertised my blog samo. LoL.

The next predictable thing would be..

A jumping shot. How predictable can one get.

We played Pepsi Cola before leaving the beach. And I won =D

Reminds me of my primary school days where I would insist to reach school half an hour earlier just to play Pepsi Cola with my friends. Those were the days.

Ambience, excellent. Food, mine was okay but my friend's kinda sucked.

Dessert break at McD's before heading home.

Really nice to be under the sun and enjoy the sea breeze once in a while, although I'm probably a shade or two darker already.

My Take on New Moon

Synopsis:

After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

Frankly speaking, Rob Pattinson's performance in New Moon was a lil disappointing. He didn't stand out. Jacob the Werewolf and the Volturi, especially Aro, stood out instead.

And this is the Aro dude. I think he's cool.

Alice Cullen, played by Ashley Greene is really, really pretty. I don't just look at hot guys, you know. Heard there were nude photos of her leaked in the internet. Anyone interested to Google, be my guest =P

[SPOILER] The one part I love most was the ending, where Edward the Vampire gave Jacob the Werewolf a blow and sent him flying in the air, and within split seconds, Jacob the Werewolf transformed into a reddish brown werewolf and launched towards Edward the Vampire. Very yeng lor!

Magazines made a huge fuss about Dakota Fanning starring in New Moon (as little Jane) but I don't see their point. She appeared less than 5 minutes. Very much like an extra.

Would love to upload an upclose front face picture of her but her big red eyes are a lil..scary -_-"

Can't wait for the next sequel! I was a lil disappointed yesterday cause both Eclipse and Breaking Dawn novels at Borders were sold out T_T

The long wait will soon be over. I'm gonna watch New Moon tomorrow!

Since Wednesday, I spent my time travelling to and from office reading the book for the 4th time, just to recollect my imagination of the story. Not that I needed any but the book's really addictive. Couldn't get my hands off them, even in the office.

Yea. Guilty as charged =)

Me: Oh it's okay. Aaron once told me some of his guy friends were forced to watch New Moon with their gfs and were horrified and traumatized when they knew there are 4 in the series.

I woke up feeling somewhat groggy, although I went to bed relatively early yesterday night. I tripped and almost fell in the shower, and accidentally left my pendrive behind and realized only when I reached Masjid Jamek station.

I had to go back for it. And for that, I was almost an hour late to work.

Was also late for my 9.30 am meeting. They had to wait for me, since I was supposed to be the one doing all the talking. Whoops.

I had a tough time explaining and convincing them to start adapting to one more reporting system I felt really exhausted after that 2 hour meeting.

And it's not even lunch yet T_T

I then realized it's only Tuesday. Still miles away from Friday T_T

It was undeniably a pretty bad start.

But..

For some reasons I can't stop smiling =)

I had this silly grin on me all morning despite what happened.
